Gilead works to discover, develop and commercialize innovative therapeutics in the areas of unmet medical needs that improve patient care. The Gilead Sciences Research Scholars Program is a merit-based system that awards funding to junior faculty research applicants that can prove they are making great strides in several different therapeutic areas including cystic fibrosis, HIV, liver disease, and several others. Gilead came to HDMZ to help streamline the application process for this program. HDMZ developed a portal for Gilead that manages the application process from submission to review and awardee selection.
